Colli Aretini DOCG "TITOLATO I SELVATICI"
(Red Wine)
Grapes
: 90/95% Sangiovese Toscano
10/5% Canaiolo Toscano
The
qualification "Titolato" is awarded to Tuscan wines which,
in the scope of DOC classification, express specific personality
and uniqueness. Only the very best bunches of grapes from selected
clones are hand picked for fermentation. Made from a traditional
blend of Sangiovese and Canaiolo, this wine is an authentic Chianti,
unadulterated by avant guard winemaking techniques or "international"
grape varieties. A balance of modern procedures and traditional
methods make this a rare and noble Chianti.
In outstanding vintages we select the best lots of our Titolato
Chianti for an extended aging period. These lots develop greater
complexity and structure during the aging process. Labled Titolato
Chianti Riserva, this wine has an aging potential from 10 to 12
years.
